Rear bags; Seb vs Edgewood

I'm looking advice from shooters to use free recoil technique. Are the Edgewood bags worth three times the price of the Seb bags? If the performance is better then I'd go Edgewood but not if there's no perceivable gain.

I know your opinion on this Vince. ?

Regards and thanks,

Si

Assuming you are going to get seriously into shooting from bags, go for the Edgewood.

Reasons why.....

1. Edgewood leather is better in my opinion

2. Variety of bag sizes

3. Variety of bag heights

4. Variety of ear sizes and stitch widths

5. Variety of ear materials..... slick, cordura etc etc

I have no vested interest other than my own experience....

Different stock designs fit different bags better than others and so does your shooting style, e.g. Bench or prone....

Edgewood are a specialist bag manufacturer and cater for just about every eventuality...... Seb is a damn fine rest manufacturer and he makes bags as a side line as such.

Hope this helps
