17 Rem
dasherman recently built me a 243 stalking rifle on a Borden action. Finally got out with it this morning. My first 3 shot group at 100 yards looks promising...

17 Rem
Thanks. I'll admit that the rest of the groups in my ladder test were not as good- but they were between .23 and .7 of an inch. And during break-in that's not too shabby. I'll put some photos of the rifle up with the spec later.

rhhudson
Looks awesome. What do you think to the action? Smooth?
17 Rem
Thanks. It is smooth, yes. It was described to me as the best of the Remington clones and I have found no reason to disagree. I have now loaded a few more of that starting load and look forward to the wind dropping again...
lapua
The bases are a work of art, saw them on facebook when he made them. I also have a borden built by Neil. Fantastic work.
17 Rem
The work on the rear base to follow the scalloped out profile of the action is stunning. I'm delighted with them.
