stu47
Hi all, I'm going to buy quickload 3.9 and just wanted to know are the Swiss RS Powder details included in its Database? I shoot Sierra TMK'S which I know the details for are in quickload but does the programe use primer details in its calculations? For example magnum, bench rest, SR primers for palma brass? Inputting primer details is not a deal breaker - I'm just interested what level of input/ output I can expect from the software. Thanks in advance gents - much appreciated
walkabout
Hi As far as I know yes, it is in the generic powder folder However, I have 3.8 and the RS data was a simple download off their site and stuck it in the Quickload Powder folder. Brillo
Yes, but the results in the real world are not as predicted.
Webby
Yes. Just changed from Varget to RS52. Varget predictions exceed the real world and RS52 real world exceed the predictions! However it is simple enough to calibrate the powder burn rate to make things work.

Agree with that inasmuch you can alter the burn rate to match the real world velocities but the predicted pressures rise also. It just makes you wonder what is correct. Don't get me wrong, Quickload is a marvellous tool but you still need to be very aware of reloading best, tried and tested practices such as pressure signs etc.

Mac OS is not supported directly.
stu47
CD arrived and loaded - just tailoring things to suit the MV's I'm getting. Reasonably impressed so far.
