Dac9976
Hi all. I'm considering another rifle build in the near future. Been looking at stock options and stumbled across E-tac, anyone have any feedback back on them please? Cheers Danny.
Shuggy
I had a good look at one at the British Shooting Show and I have to say that it looked and felt fantastic: much nicer than some other synthetic stocks that I could mention. It felt really rigid and light - even though the rifle that it was on had a bit of a 'truck axle' for a barrel. One thing to bear in mind is that the stock is not apparently designed to be bedded, as the carbon fibre is conformal to the action. In effect it is like a carbon fibre version of a chassis stock. There is a large cavity for the recoil lug though, so some people may use a small blob of bedding compound there. There are several reviews on here and Edi the owner of PSE is also on here regularly. tackb
Awesome , my primary deer rifle is in one was 260 rem now creedmoor , allows you to have a heavy barrelled tacticool rifle but in a portable weight
Chris-NZ
Pretty sure Edi told me you can skim bed them. I found I didn't need to on the T3 one- it shot great just screwed in. You are right- they are -super- rigid, despite their light weight. He is a professional composites engineer and it shows.
srvet
I have nothing but praise for the E tac that I have. It is light and rigid. In my opinion a better proposition than the McMillan A5 that my other rifle wears. Edi of PSE is a true gent as well who really knows his stuff. Borisserge
I've used Edi's stocks on a few builds with zero regrets or thoughts of "I would have been good if he had done it this way". They are light and strong with a nice shape and ergonomics for me. Edi knows his stuff. .
Richie092
I have been looking for a stock for my Tikka T3 Tactical. Used for range and hunting, this looks perfect. Does anyone know if I would I need the bottom metal or will my existing one bolt on so I can still use the Tikka mag?
brave Echo niner
Absolutely amazing, the stocks are light and very stiff and durable. Best stock on the market in my opinion. (all of edis stock) Brave Echo niner

Does anyone know if I would I need the bottom metal or will my existing one bolt on so I can still use the Tikka mag? I am pretty sure that the answer is either! I have an Etac with a AICS mag system on (Rem 700) and was stalking with a friend today who had a Roninised T3 with AI mag, my son has a Ronin T3 with standard floor-plate on a PSE multi purpose stock. Give Edi a call and he will tell you for certain what is possible. It may also be on the PSE website as well
