Sako .270

This rifle started life as a tale of woe.

It had languished in someones workshop for 12 months, where the only work done was a very poor fluting job on the bolt. The customer ran out of patience and took it to a professional.

The action is a Sako 75 and i've fitted it with a Sassen fluted blank. Its threaded 18mm x 1 and has an invisible cap, 11 degree target crown, and a Jet-z moderator.

The barrelled action is fully bedded into the GRS stock.

The customer asked for a simple black paint job.

I decided he had seen enough of the sh1tty side of the UK's gunbodgery, so decided it would get the works, FOC.

Every last part has been stripped and painted. I re faced the burred bolt heads and painted those. The trigger was completely stripped, painted, resprung and tuned

None of this is a problem when you do all the work in house.

A customer recently asked who I farmed my ceracoat work out to ? ......:lol::lol:

No one. Every aspect of a built rifle is performed in house, by myself....and no one else. I don't pass the work off as my own when someone else has built half the gun either.

I only wished I could have done something to resurrect that God awful fluting job on the bolt.
