Mark Jones
Anyone know where I could buy one of these? Seems Dr Bob or Scott County no longer stock them. Have found the Sony lense on the internet but not the adaptor, have also posted in the wanted section Thanks, Mark
spanner
They are very susceptible to losing zero with the slightest knock and you may also run out of zero adjustment if you fit one, both from personal experience.
sandyb
Mark, I have a number of these.... not Sony however, but bought the adapter from Daniel Pinto on eBay and found the cheapest Pulsar lenses from a place but can't remember but see Outdoor GB have these for £75. I've three mounted to 1 N550 & 2 N770's and do not suffer and shift in zero with any of them. That said, I've never knocked the doubler element, but do sling and shoulder and walk for miles with them with no zero loss. I'd go for the depinto adapter over the Dr Bobs. Was watching a roe buck the other night at 100yds and could clearly see the antler coronets in detail....amazed
