Mark Jones
Not sure if in the right section but here goes. I am looking for a bright flood beam torch for picking up foxes after being shot. Really want aluminium, use regular batteries and be real bright, Cree LED ? Seen loads on eBay but prefer to hear people's recommendations. Have about £30 budget Thanks, Mark
Rammer223
T20 in white is what i use but don't use standard batteries sure package could be had for a little bit more than your budget Lee

SpinDrift
Ward T20 would be ideal and the 18650 batteries last a surprising amount of time between charges. http://www.nightvisionstore.co.uk/ward-t20-torch-white-led-c2x14691794 I use a Fenix TK22 for similar use, but very expensive sat next to the T20. If only I had known when I bought it! If you really must use something with standard AA/AAA batteries, then perhaps look at something like the LED Lenser T7.
The_Dogge
Or the same T20 with battery and charger for £35 here: https://www.ludicrous-lumens.co.uk/products/t20-illuminator-gun-light-20mm?variant=18127896519 I have a couple of T20s with IR LEDs, based on the performance of those I would certainly consider one with a white LED if I needed one. ashcroft
Olight ST25 takes aa battery and were on sale at torch direct for £25. Won't get much higher outputs with AA. unless spending more or going to something run on 18650s
