247sniper
Had a week off this week and thoughts I'd have a play and get my rifles dial and tuned in for some long ramge vermin Control when the crop and grass has been cut. 1st off I bought a new Sightron scope for my custom. 204, haven't shot it since I got my 223AI built two years ago. Got it mounted, made 200 rounds up and went out to play. Thus rifle has fully neck turned and prepped brass and shoots the 39 grain SBK's at 3713ftps. Got it zeroed in and then as conditions were good took it stright out to longer range. As always thus rifle never let's me down and was absolutely spot on, shooting steel at 484 yards with absolute precision and spot on wind call. I then proceed to shoot a large rabbit sized stone at 576 yard with 5 shots and 5 impacts. I almost forgot how awsome these 204's are when you put the time money and practise in on them, awsome little round.

Yeh can't believe it's been two years since I last had this one out, missed it so much, when I shot the targets I was like bloody he'll that's fast lol, bang then impact in no time lol. Keep meaning to give the 40 grain VMAX or the Noslers ago even the 32's but the 32s out to the ranges I shoot them at I would be at a ballistic disadvantage with elevation and wind diflection. The 39 SBK's work a treat like you say so if it's not broke then don't fix it hey? Cheers mate Steve
Blacknsilver
I have just bought a .204 about a mth ago. Only shot about 40 through it. Mostly zeroing as I bought a new scope for it not long after zeroing it in. Fitted it with a Meopta 4-16-44. Not done any longe range stuff yet. Hope to this weekend. Got about 60 home loads in 32g then it's going to be fed factory until I start home loading. Love it so far. Custom Remmy 700.

Montey
Good to see the 204 on here again must get mine out and try again I just can't get it to perform as well as my Dolphin custom 223. What load powder are you chaps using ? The best I found was RL 10x with either the 32g or 39g heads.
