palo
I'm thinking of changing my bipod setup on my sako trg 22. At the moment I'm using a harris mounted underneath the forend. I'm considering a krg spigot mount to mount the harris lower and further forward or I could spend a bit more and get the phoenix bipod with the dedicated trg mount. Most of my shooting will be from the prone position but I do like to shoot from a bench sometimes. Can you use the phoenix bipod on a bench ? Any info would be most appreciated
Breacher
I have used mine on a bench. If I was doing it regularly, I would stick a rubber pad on the bottom of the ski feet. If you are about Bisley during the CSR matches part of The Imperial, you are welcome to have a look at mine and try it on a bench if that can be arranged. johnnyb0_1
Bought a couple of these of Brian, the engineering is absolutely superb. They are without doubt the best bipod I have used. Not cheap but real quality. You won't be disappointed.

overspray
I can second that the phoenix is a super piece of kit it has worked wonders on my 6.5 off the bench .
Xtrema
I will 'third' that the Phoenix Bipod is a superbly engineered piece of kit. It's at home on the bench or prone. I bought mine off of Brian and picked it up at Bisley. Not cheap (quality never is) but you will never regret buying one of these.
