David Hancock
I shot at the West Midland Shooting Ground near Hodnet in Shropshire on Friday morning with the new Browning Pro Trap High Rib 12ga 32inch. What fantastic, easy courtesy from Debra and Tom Jones who own the ground right from my initial call to them at short notice, to arriving and going out with David one of their instructors. What a stunning ground and stands - the quarry stand - the like I have never shot before. Reet testing but it put a smile on my face ! The lodge shop and adjacent café are equally superb. I would honestly drive the 162 miles (each way) just to shoot there. It is that good. As for the Browning, it is different from your typical sporter but hell, what a fantastic gun. All I need now is a 50 to 400 metre rifle range with the similar facilities.
