Bushnell Rangefinder problem.

I have a Bushnell scout rangefinder its about five years old and its been a great tool over the years i've had it, But now its playing up it kind of gives me the distance when you look through it but its hard to read as the digital numbers are not showing correctly and most of the time you only get the bottom half of the numbers so the numbers 1-4-9 are so hard to read and all look the same. I have tried new batteries with no joy and its never been dropped since new that i can think of,any ideas or can it be fixed?.

Same happened with mine, I contacted the importer but I don't think they offered a repair (it was a few year ago), I replaced mine with zeiss, worth the extra

Get a 2nd hand Leica & be done with it. You can try mine if you want to evaluate one

I had a Bushnell scout that started to do the same after it got a soaking one night. Put it in a container full of rice which cured it in the short term. But it did re-occur. Ended up having to bin it.
