Hi Gunnery - Thanks for your kind words. Your support is very much appreciated by everyone at the 101. It always great to meet new like minded people and especially on our home range here at Altcar. I look forward to seeing you in November if not before hand. Fingers crossed we can persuade shooters from far afield this year and make it a great relaxed end to another very competitive season.

Hi All,

I'm very please to see that some entries for our competition are starting to arrive in the post and several shooters are asking all the right questions.

We are now in a position to go public with the second phase of our master plan.

As you already know, The All Distance Challenge is on Saturday 7th November. We will also be running a Teams competition on Sunday 8th November - The Rutland Teams Celtic Challenge. This will give any shooters the opportunity to take advantage of a full weekend of shooting on our fantastic range here at Altcar.

Like the "ADC" it's open to all F/TR, F-Open and Factory Sporter teams. Each team must be made up from a Maximum of 5 people (4 shooters and a 1 Registered Keeper) and will be shot at 3 stages - 300/500/600 yards.

Make up a team guys and get involved as it should be a great weekend. We would love to see the Diggle Ringers, Team savage, Triple S and Dickens Cider teams to name a few on board.

I do how ever have a small problem...Doesn't matter what I do on the computer or phone, I can't download any of my links to this page.

Can I email them to any administration on here and have them attached to this link By the powers that be as it would be of great help. You can email me at richsjones@hotmail.co.uk and I'll send them straight away.

Many thanks - Richie

Jim - You, Mary, Ian and John are certainly Ringers ha ha. Apologies if I got the wrong team name as I couldn't remember what your Fire service sponcers name was. The drinks in the Artists were flowing at the time ha ha

Hi Jim, It would make life easier if all teams had a registered keeper and there will be 5 awards for each class on offer but it's not a biggy.

when I've shot in teams of 4..4th shooter can score first and swap duty with the 1st shooter off the point After his string.

Hi Ian,

I will go out of my way to accommodate any individuals or teams who want to shoot at our weekend event.

The Celtic Challenge arrived at my door slightly fragmented so we have changed it to a Rutland Teams comp to bring more shooters on board.

Everyone will be competing for the same awards in F-Open/F/TR and F-Sporter and will be able to gain "Rutland Teams Celtic Challenge Champion" status.

What I have done is got a couple of extra awards which will be awarded to the highest scoring F/TR Team between (2 of the original 3 teams) the official Welsh and NIRA team.

If you interested in either of our events can you let me know asap as I'm starting to plan all the logistics for both days now.

Take Care - Richie

Hi Vince,

It's a 300yrd / 500yrd / 600yrd for

5 person teams (4 shooters and 1 Captain or Registered Keeper) 90 mins allowed for the 4 shooters to each string 2+15 shots. We'll then have 35mins to fall back to the next distance, then repeat the process. Start HME if needed 830-9am at 200yrds. Dress back to 300yrds for a Teams 5min Blow off. First comp shot down range at 9.25ish and done and dusted for 330pm approx.

Ian,

I am looking for a F-Open shooter for one of our 101 Teams. Can I sign him/her on board.

If by him/her you mean me can I let you know by the weekend? There's just a couple of loose ends I need to tie up before I commit fully.
