Plenty of English companies that will do salt bath nitriding. But none that I have ever heard of with an RFD.

Lots of defence companies with suitable ticket. Melonite/salt bath is a nitriding process BUT its not controlable along the length of the bore and is done at relativeley high temps. Unless your intimate with metallurgy of your particular tube you may get a banana back and/or some or no nitriding within the bore. There are better processes. Look at Steyr etc who have done this to actions etc for many years.

I would look at some form of PVD or DLC coating rather than Melonite. It is done at much lower temperature, and there is less chance of altering the heat treat on your action.
