Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 - First look

Major Disorder

Recommended Posts

With the Strike Eagle mounted on a 300 Whisper we were able to give it a quick shoot indoors at our local club. First impressions are that it's got a nice clear glass, good range of illumination and a crisp reticule. The zoom ring has a ridge to aid grip but I think the addition of the SV-4 Switchview lever would really help, especially for those with fat fingers....

All in all a great scope, well worth the asking price. We're looking forward to giving it a run out at longer range and reporting back.

I like these little scopes , BUT why are they not designed to have a adjustable elevation turret , like a PMII or similar , would make it alot more handy , then you can dial or aimoff , its then your choice .

I wish more makers would make compact scopes like the little 2.5-8x36mm M2 Leupold scopes .

Well there's already the PST 1-4x24 which has the target turrets, so I guess they didn't want to eat into that market too much.
