ezmobile
Hi all. I've got a very quick question for you all. A short while ago I bought a 2nd hand Burris B-1500 Binocular / Laser rangefinder. A couple of days back I tested them for accuracy and found the readings were low i.e. a measured 25 yds read as 22 yds (quite an error over such a short distance!), so who knows how far out they are over long range? Does anyone know if its possible to get them re-calibrated back to the +/- 1 metre as they are supposed to do. All the best. Eric

gbal
Is Burris Optis in Greely CO too obvious-the makers may well be the best bet If spares etc needed-or if cost effective?
M99
Or could it be your unit is in Metres? 22 metres is just short of 25 yards ;-)
ezmobile
Hi. The distances measured in yards were ranged in yards also, but an easy mistake to make if not paying attention to settings on the unit. I've been in contact with Burris and if I send it to the U.S. they'll have a look at it (how much would that cost ???) its a pity there appears to be nobody here to check this stuff out.....perhaps theres a business oportunity here for someone! Cheers.
