The Gun Pimp
I still keep getting inquiries about the EGG SHOOT. Just turn up for 9.30am - all welcome - yes, bring the kids/wife/dog and your lunch along. Any rifle, any sights, any rest - entry fee is just a fiver but non-Diggle members have to pay the £15 range fee.

The Gun Pimp
The Egg Shoot is a true test of field marksmanship - no sighters! It doesn't half level the playing field! Most target shooters can shoot the b***s of a gnat but without sighters................. We shoot at 100, 300 and 500 yds on the groundhog target (see pic of target on Target Shooter facebook page) Then, one shot at a hen's egg - break it and win £100. This takes more or less all day - with a break for lunch and we usually finish around 3.30pm. Awards for small group at each distance, top score, best factory etc. How many times have I won it? Three eggs broke and won the comp. once at least. Breaking the egg is a great feeling - with all the other shooters watching it splatter in the scope! Swarovski1
Is the egg at 600yds..?
The Gun Pimp
The egg is at 500 yards. The shots on the groundhog target at 100, 300 and 500 yards are in effect sighters for the egg.
