CliveWard
Hi All, This might be of some interest. While out foxing the other night my oppo wanted to clear up some of the rabbits in the orchard so I spotted and recorded with the thermal imager. http://youtu.be/t3xLjvHbjig He was shooting using his .17 HMR fitted with a Ward D Vision 700 night vision add on and I was spotting with the WT37 thermal imager. It was really easy to look ahead the rows through the tress and let him and the driver know when the next targets were up. Cheers Clive
garyw
good vid there clive-the 2nd and 3rd bunny you could make out the splatter giving off heat from head shots. i take it the actual image from the unit is better than on the video image? furthest shot was ? CliveWard
Hi Gary, Thanks for that. Yes you certainly see a bit more action from the 3rd person perspective as there's no recoil impulse movement at that 'critical' moment like there is recording with the thermal rifle scope. Yes the image through the unit is a lot better than the captured video. Ranges were 40-140m approx. Cheers Clive

CliveWard
Is the thermal you used better than the 38s? Hi Montey, Yes the WT37 has a batter faster shutterless core and better 800x600 OLED display. As you're in Kent too, just pop over sometime and have a look.
