Elwood
I know cheap isn't the best option, but I'm not spending £££'s for someone to steal it. Can anyone recommend a cheap trail camera that will takes reasonable quality photos at night. I'm not bothered about video or SMS messaging, I just need something that can identify a fox size animal and give a time. £100 or less
Bitethebullet
I have just bought a Little Acorn the 5210 (basic version). Got it off Amazon for £108. You can get them cheeper, but beware there are a lot of snide ones out there. I had exactly the same needs and did not need SMS/email etc. Bought as a friend has one, have seen the pictures they take and they do the job. You need to buy batteries obviously I bought 8 recharagable NiMh for £20.00 Kev

Sixpointfive
I've got two cheapies from lidl to use, where there is a chance of losing em and they work just fine, do what they say they will do I do also have the spy point HD12. Which is fantastic, video and still, crisp sharp videos, but comes at an awesome price Both do the job, you'll probably have to change the cheapies more regularly if you use them a lot, but won't cry so much when they're lifted If you're not using em every week get a lidl one, Atv
