cmsds
hi guys , can anyone tell me about this rifle its an Accurcy international AE I have spoke to the gun dealer who is selling it but he has no information as to wether its a 1/8 twist or how many rounds the rifle has fired or how old it is, the only thing he can tell me is its worth £2,200 ? http://www.gunstar.co.uk/accuracy-international-ae-260-remington-rifles-for-sale-in-s/rifles/719105
brown dog
He can't even tell you what twist it is? He must be a rifle numpty, and, with new ATs at £2800, I think a price of £2200 for an early model AE sounds OTT.
Offroad Gary
Thats a non folding mk1 Ae with the 2 position safety. £2200 is too much. Not sure if they sold mk1's in .260, so might not be original factory tube. £2200 is about the right money for a folder with the 3 position safety. An AT folder in .308 comes in above £3k, so if you must have a .260 this is cheaper

LukeSoutherner
That does sound expensive. My AE MK3, which I purchased in 2011, cost me around £2750 new (.308), so £2200 for an older model, and with little background details, does sound rather steep. joshmartin8
defiantly to steep, around 1500 would be a good price I'm guessing
baldie
Its got an aftermarket barrel fitted. AI have only ever chambered in .7.62 , 7-08 , 243 , 6mmbr and 22-250 [ i think ] on short action. 6.5 x 47 and .260 have only ever come from sporting services, thus making them non factory or non OEM barrels.
