Hello

I have a cz 452 varmint that i have modifyed much over the years.

Now it is getting a anschutz barrel chippen at 16"

And a Pm2 4-16x50 on top.

But i dont like the boyds tacticool stock.

So i would like to buy a syntetic stock for it.

What kind of models are there and were can i buy them?

I live i norway and There are No places to buy it here.

I met the chap from staffs synthetic stocks at the British shooting show.

The progress the company has made since it's inception is ten fold.

I have a couple of photos of the small thoughtful add ons that they put into

the molds that make them just that little bit special.

I have seen ( a few years ago ) that there was a company in France that did good stocks for CZ..

IMO SS stocks are way too expensive for rimfire rifles ...

You could make one ?!?

I made mine from an airsoft stock ...

It's on an Anshutz 1710, but they will definitely do it for a CZ as well. I've also seen a thumbhole model as well.

Whether a SSS or similar is too much to pay or not for a humble rimfire is a rather individual thing. For example there are plenty of people on here with top-notch German glass on middle of the road factory rifles. If you really want a synthetic stock for a rimfire, then there aren't too many options.

Manners in the US do one; and Staffordshire Synthetic Stocks in the UK do a couple of different models. I think that PSE Composites in Ireland will also do it as a custom inlet.

I bought this from here last year, it shows the PSE stock.

I couldn't find the stock i wanted,

& i wasn't going to pay nearly £ 200 for something that i wasn't happy with made out of wood, and double that made out of plastic

So i sat down, thought about it & basically come up with an idea.

I bought a broken airsoft rifle from a local air soft dealer ( broken, as in it didn't work. ) ..

Ripped it apart , as I only wanted the ' skins' .. I made a new chassis with a section of alloy box .. Drilled and cut out the holes so the trigger mech would pass through, ground back the inside of the plastic skins, so it would fit the chassis .. Painted & assembled ..

Very happy with the result ..!

It's soounds much easier to write or say than it was.. But it was worth the grief

What is the Email to staffordshire stocks? Or pse? And does anybody know the price ?

Gonna Get the rifle back from The doctor next week with the anschutz barrel instaled :)
