Really?

As an existing MDT customer I've seen most of their publicity stuff?

I was more hoping for close-ups rather than the usual poor publicity shots we've seen so far.

Oops, sorry I'm not very good on files-not much to indicate the PDF one would not do for you.

Good luck with the COF one :-)

No doubt you are familiar with it,already, but there is a review-not particularly detailed-in Rifleshooter J 24 2015: MDTHS3 Chassis Review :Initial Thoughts, and Part 2 Shooting

and this might be of interest more generally, while waiting..

Looking forward to that.

BTW MDT announced a new version of the LSS yesterday - it has a 3-inch longer forend and modified stock attachment - a massive improvment which users have been asking for for ages.

Well a week too late for the Shooting Show thanks to Customs, but here is the pre-production version of the MDT HS3.

This version is for the Remington 700 Short Action in Right hand configuration. Magazine fit is nice and slick for the MDT AICS polymer version. Removable stock sides are a plus and address the LLS's problem of being dang cold to hold in the winter.

The new rear design for the HS3 means that you really will need non-beavertail pistol grips on this one. You'll also want to use an AR15 lock plate to align the receiver extension if you're using a collapsible buttstock.

I had assumed that the barrel channel would be concave, but it is in fact flat.

The v-block bedding area looks robust and there's a decent sized trigger well.

Plenty of options for rail mounting (if that's your thing). The holes are the same 1.6" centre to centre as the TAC21 and LSS. You will need longer bolts on the sides though as they are counter sunk about 7mm.

The bottom of the fore end looks a bit "industrial" but I guess if benchrest is your thing then it would be ideal.

Well it's been a long time coming, but it's here at last. I think it's a bit Marmite, personally I prefer the LSS for its looks, but this is sure to sell well when it finally hits the (Black Rifle) shop!

I like the HS3, but I also like the recently announced LSS-XL which for me addresses the problems of the original LSS, i.e. stock fitting and over-short forend.
