dylan5588 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 You will love these......Instead of using oil or fat to fry in, try using a small amount of Coke, not diet or Coke zero, put onions in pan add a splash of Coke fry until the coke is gone, then carry on frying until onions are nicely browned, The sugar in the coke caramalises leaving you with the sweetest non oily onions you have ever had. Not as random as the way i discovered it by spilling some coke in the last of the onions i was cooking at a BBQ last year, didnt say anything, but everyone commented on how nice the onions tasted!!!
