Triumph045
Could anyone help me out please. I'm new to reloading, and can't find any data on powder weights for my current set up. I'm loading .308 Win, using Hornady brass, fiocchi large rifle primers, Hornady 168gr match BTHP bullets, and I have Vhitavori N133 powder. I can't seem to find data on this powder to load these rounds, so my question is what would be a suitable starting weight for the powder.?

Brillo
+1 on Spud's comments. N133 is too fast. Give him a call and he'll sort you out.

ezmobile
Yeah, I agree. N133 is way fast. N140 is better, or even TR140 which is slightly slower again. what barrel length / twist does it have?
1971silversurfer
Please be Careful!!! There is plenty of free reloading data available on the internet. You cannot expect to reload successfully without putting in the time and effort studying what you should be doing....asking advice from Spud and others who have valuable experience for those that are prepared to listen is a good starting point. Here's a starter... http://www.vihtavuori.com/upload/guide-and-brochure/vihtavuorireloadingguideed13_2014engwww.pdf Please study before you attempt to reload your first rounds. Remember... All good things come to those that wait!!!.
