SA Feral Shooter

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,
Im new to this forum and have been hunting bunnies for the past 33yrs. I used to put the ol back pack on , grab the .22lr or WMR and go for a wander in the bush. Nowadays I love the challenge of long range bunny popping , my rifles are all sakos(I think thats why I drive a 40yr old VW :) ) . They include a Finnfire .22lr, a Quad .22WMR, and 3 85 Varmint laminated s/s rifles in .223, 22/250 (a new addition)and a .260.
I use the .223 from 150-400yds, will be using the 22/250 from 400-600yds and I use the .260 from 600- to as far as I can hit them .
I hunt the riverland country in South Australia and have recently started to film my shoots and place them on youtube under the title of SA Feral Shooter. Im currently on three other forums , one Australian one American and another from the UK.
Anyway, Im pleased to meet you all and hopefully will become part of this great community.
cheers,
Sean.

Sean,

Just a friendly 'be aware' to avoid potential angst:

UKV welcomes vids that demonstrate technical ability, skill and/or cutting edge equipment/kit.

In contrast, UKV does not welcome vids that are no more than 'look what I killed 'animal snuff vids.

UKV is about intelligent all-round expert-level rifle excellence - and that includes respect for quarry.

Please bear that in mind and post appropriately.

:)

It is, but sadly many people have abused the system over the years, so the admin teams have had no option but to enforce these rules. I don't believe they like them any more than you or I do.

Read the title bar at the top of the page.

Read the type of content on the site.

Read the principles at the bottom of this post.

You'll then realise what this forum is about and what it's not about.

:)

Thank you Paddy. Precisely.

The only trouble we have ever had here is produced by the sort of people producing, or fascinated by, 'look what I killed 'animal snuff vids/pics.

Thus, to allow us to maintain UKV as the friendly, intelligent and expert site that it is; that sort of material is simply not welcome here.

I think that neatly draws a line under this.
