LDC1982
one day (not any time soon) but I can dream. I had a go with the 300 win mag version a couple of weeks ago. lots of fun even if it was only at 200 yards.

Avian
This is my 1st rifle and I still can't get over how after zeroing it at 100m we can calculate the setting to dial into the scope and then hit targets out at 830 m down at WMS firearms training.Just got all the gear for reloading from 1967Spud so will now try to learn how to do that and load rounds that the gun likes. very nice bit of kit mate the AI's certainly shoot well
ChrisF
How do you find the 308 sub cal conversion , ie does it feed well/smooth etc , compared with say the 338LM cal , my AX338 is very smooth , and so is my AW308 . Cheers Chris
Avian
It's very smooth, I have had on three occasions (over 300 rounds) where it did not load the round in after 6 rounds on a10 round mag. Not sure why. Shooting it on 308 compared to 338 is very little recoil and a real pleasure to shoot.I still prefer the 338 with a heaver round I guess as it is better at long range if it's windy, which it normally is here in Wales ! Avian
Thanks, It's a really lovely rifle to shoot. I have a LOT of work to do to bring my shooting skills to anywhere near what it can do, but I'll never be able to blame the kit if I miss! Very nice setup you have there.
