53g v max expanding

Recommended Posts

good for fox and crow!

Yes-by design - think of "v for (small) varmint". As Scotch-egg says, the soft point are for somewhat larger critters, with a more controlled expansion/penetration design.

UK crow is small varmint ; UK fox is clearly bigger than 'prairie dog',but short of coyote construction, making the heavier vmax bullets more appropriate than the very lightest, probably.

So give bullet choice some consideration, weight and construction;and quarry. Be informed by those with extensive experience, like Gaz. Any bullet can give odd performance, extensive use sorts out the reliable ones.

what you have written is correct.

I have never shot predators in the usa BUT the 53g v max are actually perfect for fox in the uk.
