Dustyman
Would appreciatte recommendations of good slings , predominately that don't come f@&£in undone and deposit 4.5 k of rifle and scope on a stone track !!!! Painful lesson but definitely not to be repeated if I can help it . Only want a nice wide , pref padded , strong sling but with buckles or adjusters that are not gonna slip through , cheers , will read any responses once the tears subside ! :-) thanks for looking , Ian

Dustyman
Painfull yes but poss not as bad as could have been . Fell only a short distance but landed in bolt side so scuff and dents in bolt handle , double turn turret , parallax wheel and moderator end . At least glass is ok . ( I hope ) Assume will need a resighting session and hope no damage internally . Had just done a 300 yrs crow and less than 1/2 group at 100 so was quite chuffed till this happened . Still lesson learned . Thanks , looks like as I had thought it might be with. TAB getting most comments . Will look to getting one now I think , cheers Ian
DW58
Ian - it's well worth comparing US prices on TAB gear, I bought some of my TAB stuff direct from the US, although my TAB RAS sling was bought in the UK.

Dustyman
Apols if offended , was meant tongue in cheek . Well made slings from viewing the website and I am sure worth the wait, unfort I waited 13 months for the stock and wish to use the rifle so shorter lead time is preferred , looks like it could be worth it for the long term but I also wanted it as a carry sling as well , so not sure about the comfort side , they comfortable over the shoulder as well as for holding the rifle ? Thanks for comments tho feedback was what I wanted , cheers
