Roesika
Hi there I have spoke to Keith and there is a 3 month waiting time on the actions, could do with one sooner I would either take a predator or a tac 30 action , or consider a rifle built on either. Thanks Mike
char
Steve Kershaw has a .243ai built on a stiller predator for sale. It's in an aics stock with a 1-8 twist barrell. Very low round count (200 aprox) Give him a call.
The Gun Pimp
The Stiller Predator is a good 'field' action but no better than those offered by UK's Revolution Precision - as used by Baldy - and readily available. Unless you've some fetish for Predators, there are alternatives.
Shuggy
I believe that John Carr is actually called Resolution Precision.

Readily available ? lol i wish , been waiting for a 223 bolt face clubman action right bolt left port for about 5weeks ( i know thats not that long but initially thought 2 weeks from order ) , should be done soon , then coating bolt another 2weeks . I know hes been of recently with a bad back tho !
The Gun Pimp
I don't think you can complain about five weeks. Consider the number of permutations on a single action - left-bolt, right-bolt, left or right port, three (at least) boltface diameters. Some may want an ejector others not. To satisfy just that market would mean having a couple of dozen actions on the shelf - and John make quite a few different action bodies.
DaveT
Considering the American options are 'whenever' !.....I am glad we now have a UK maker.....and I use them.
baldie
This has always been the problem with the many designs that John and I have. He is working towards resolving supply lead times by keeping "standard" configurations on the shelf in the near future. Also remember that John supplies his regular customers first [ namely me ] and one - offs are in the queue. The main hold ups are the heat treatment and bolt coating people. Both can take a while, especially the heat treaters.
