happyhunter
Just taken this dog fox at 155yards as he was making his way through the lambing paddock. To be absolutely honest I found there is no benefit using the 66 over the original t20 in conjunction with the n550+doubler out to sensible range I would shoot with this setup (200-250yards max) as its so bright on spot I had the turn the contrast completely down, after that it beats the original by an absolute country mile for spotting as beam is so tight. But we carnt forget how much "chunkier" the 66 is compared to the original. I was watching badgers feeding along a wood edge at almost 570yards (lasered not gestimated). Now where it really shines is with the coloured LEDs atop a rifle scope, with the green led in and it mounted above the nightforce there is plenty light where it's needed to shoot out to silly ranges at night (400yards would be doable in the right hands) spot eye shine to double that figure.
