Advice on a new .222

Just be aware that if you have the front screw too long, it'll bottom out on the barrel thread, and may damage it, not an issue till it comes off for a new barrel and then tears up the chamber thread.

Also, before you use loctite (243) check that they don't cause the bolt to bind either. You only need about 3-4mm of screw into the action.

the smallest they do is a 8mm screw so hopefully that will be enough

The length of the next one needs to be checked too..... too long and it will foul the bolt lugs. ;)
